Delivery Ahoy is based on the concept that work should be fun, that we should have some control over how we work, that we should work jobs that we are passionate about, that have a net gain to society as a whole, and put people first.
Under the capitalist system there are only really two kinds of companies; those that are adversarial and seek to destroy all others who compete against them, (All the current App delivery services fall into this category), and those that are co-operative, and seek to work together towards a greater good. Delivery Ahoy is the latter, and this entire website is designed around the concept that by combining our resources, small, local companies, can actually out compete the big guys by working together and helping each other out. It is for this reason that our logo is a Pirate Flag. Pirates were the original workers revolution, tossing off the shackles of the chain gangs and taking fate into their own hands. Our logo, the Jolly Moose was designed to depict Delivery Ahoy's northern Canadian origins and what is possibly the most majestic animal to ever walk the planet. Before drawing Martin, The Jolly Moose, the artist actually studied moose femurs to ensure that the Jolly Moose was as accurate as she could make it, and we believe that it is PERFECT.
Delivery Ahoy was founded in 2009, began official operations in 2012, and began development of this website concept in 2013. This website in this incarnation began testing operations on April 7th, 2023, and is due to officially launch sometime around July 29th, 2025.
