I understand and acknowledge that Delivery Ahoy uses direct billing and that the services provided for delivery aren't free, and that I will be responsible for these fees and payment for services provided, including allowing tailored advertising on the social media sites of Cosmic Poetry and Ahoy-Matey. At Delivery Ahoy we have this funny concept that those that use the service are the ones who should pay for it, and that companies have a moral responsibility to declare what their product mark up is, which is why we ensure that you can see what we are billing you from start to finish. Please be aware that what we mark-up is NOT our profit margin. Included in the mark-up are all of our expenses, which are many. Delivery Ahoy is NOT making the 10.5% that we are charging on top of our product and delivery; we are making less than 2%. To put this in perspective, your grocer is marking up items by 33-100%, possibly more, your beer store is marking things up by 28-40%, and the apps by 16-20%, or even more, depending on their area of operation and the laws there. So if you want to be angry about corporate pricing, please place your anger where it belongs, and not on us. Thank you for choosing Delivery Ahoy.
